The Battery Innovation Days (BID) 2024, taking place in Barcelona and online on 26–27 November 2024, is co-organised by today's leading European R&I initiatives, Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+, and the Batteries European Partnership Association, in collaboration with the Batteries 1st and 2nd IPCEIs.

In order for the EU to achieve its zero-emission targets through a sustainable and responsible market, batteries are necessary for technology. This two-day event will offer stimulating talks with researchers, policymakers, business leaders, and end users to promote battery innovation and research in Europe. The goal of the Battery Innovation Days is to foster knowledge and communication about the use of cutting edge technologies in battery materials, cell design, manufacturing, and recycling.
