On 20 January 2025, CONNECT-NM, the co-funded partnership aiming to pursue a paradigm shift in nuclear materials research, from ‘observe and qualify’ to ‘design and control,’ announced the official launch of its Open Call for Projects (OCP). 

Projects proposed in the call must be aligned with the specific objective of at least one of the five Research Lines (RL) of the partnership and contribute to realise the final product of the corresponding RL. 

Moreover, the proposal submission procedure for the Open Call will occur in two phases: 

• Project ideas 

• Project proposals 

The first phase for the submission of project ideas is now open until 21 March 2025. All applications must be submitted electronically following the procedures and using the templates provided here.
