The EERA Joint Programme on Bioenergy is pleased to announce the launch of the ‘EERA Bioenergy Ph.D. Thesis Awards’, a call for applications that will open every year based on the accessible budget.

The funds made available under this award will grant Ph.D. graduates in the field of bioenergy and biofuels, covering an open-access publication and conference fees with the objective of supporting the visibility of young researchers.

The award winner(s) will be invited to give an overview of his/her Ph.D. or research in the next EERA Bioenergy Steering Committee meeting.

Applicants can be Ph.D. graduates (maximum 5 years after finishing their Ph.D.) that belong to entities that are members of the EERA Bioenergy Joint Programme.

Candidates are invited to submit their proposal online to the EERA Bioenergy Secretariat before 19 April 2022. The proposals should be aligned with the latest version of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of EERA Bioenergy and make clear the interest of EERA Bioenergy in funding it.
