The EERA Scientific Webinar Series opens with its first session, “FAIR Data and Digital Frameworks for Renewable Technology Deployment”, on 23 September 2026. The new series, initiated by the EERA Joint Programme Committee (JP COM) with the support of the EERA Secretariat, will present the work of EERA Joint Programmes and how their scientists are addressing key energy challenges.
The first session will cover how FAIR data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable), common standards, digital platforms and interoperable infrastructures can improve data sharing, collaboration and decision-making in renewable energy research and innovation. It will also address data quality, interoperability, cybersecurity and long-term data stewardship.
Open exclusively to EERA members, the 120-minute webinar will include presentations from seven EERA Joint Programmes, followed by an interactive discussion on future challenges and opportunities for collaboration.
