EERA JP Wind & SETWind WORKSHOP on Wind Power in Energy Systems

The webinar is organized in 4 separate sessions, all of them 14:00 – 16:00 CET:

June 16 – Wind based hybrid power plants
June 18 – Wind in power systems
June 23 – Test infrastructures
June 25 – Research priorities and lighthouse projects

Free NEW registration is mandatory to participate >> please register here for the workshop.

This event is part of the EERA JP Wind & SETWind series of thematic workshops, organized to help to define the “rolling agenda” of R&I priorities in the SET-Plan Implementation Plan for Offshore Wind. These workshops are free and open in order to give the opportunity to all members of the wind community to express their opinions and give their contributions.

Objective:

The aim of the workshop is to bring together an expert group of scientists/researchers interested in the subject matter and to have in-depth scientific presentations and discussions. The workshop is free of charge and is primarily addressed to EERA JP Wind members, with limited number of available seats.

Focus is, but not limited to, offshore wind integration, power-to-X, hybrid power plants, electrification, research infrastructure, testing and standards, system value, etc. The workshop will also include presentations & discussions about grand challenges in wind energy science and lighthouse projects.

The workshop is organized by John Olav Tande (coordinator of SP6 Offshore Balance of Plant), Paul McKeever (coordinator of SP2 Research Infrastructure, testing and standards) and Nicolaos A. Cutululis (coordinator of SP5 System Integration).

Confirmed participant organizations include DTU Wind Energy (Denmark), SINTEF (Norway), OREC Catapult (UK), CENER (Spain), EERA JP Energy Systems Integration (TBC).

Location:

GoToMeeting virtual room.

The access link will be provided to registered participants.
