EERA and its Joint Programmes are returning to this year’s European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) Policy Conference.
The EUSEW Policy Conference is Europe’s biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use. The 19th edition of the Policy Conference will take place in a hybrid format, both in Brussels and online on 10-12 June 2025, gathering policymakers, innovators and energy stakeholders to discuss innovations and the future of sustainable energy in Europe.
The central theme of this year’s EUSEW, organised by the European Commission, is focused on powering a fair and competitive green transition.
EERA will a host a policy session at the 2025 EUSEW Policy Conference, spearheaded by its two Joint Programmes on Smart Grids (SG) and Digitalisation for Energy (DfE). Co-organised together with the Commission’s Joint Research Centre, this session is titled ‘‘Smarter than ever: how the potential of AI is reshaping Europe’s energy grids.’’
Taking place on 12 June from 9:30 – 11:00 CEST in hybrid format, EERA’s session will explore how AI-driven smart grids can accelerate Europe’s energy transition by enhancing the integration of renewables, improving grid flexibility and reliability, and supporting the EU’s climate and competitiveness goals.
