ISECAT2025 – International School of Electrocatalysis

From 23 to 25 July 2025, the Gruppo Interdivisionale di Chimica per l’Accumulo e la Conversione Elettrochimica dell’Energia (ACee) of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) organises the first edition of the International School of Electrocatalysis (ISECAT2025) at the “Fiore di Botta” Campus in Padova, Italy.
ISECAT2025 is organised at the same location and immediately following the 1st Joint Conference of the Gruppo Interdivisionale di Chimica per l’Accumulo e la Conversione Elettrochimica dell’Energia – ACEE and the Italian Group for Electrochemical Energy Storage – GISEL (of INSTM). Participants will therefore have the opportunity to attend both events, reaping all the respective scientific contents.
ISECAT2025 aims at bringing together leading professors and researchers of international renown to provide high-level training in the field of electrocatalysis, for application in electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices. The School will also highlight the future research directions needed to develop cutting-edge technologies in this critical area.
The School will emphasize personal interactions between students, instructors, and representatives from industrial laboratories, encouraging dialogue and idea-sharing, both formally and informally.
On this occasion the attendees will be able to directly interact with internationally renowned experts, including: Plamen Atanassov (University of California, Irvine, USA); Marian Chatenet (LEPMI, France); Peter Strasser (Technical University of Berlin, Germany) and many others.
This event represents a valuable opportunity for all interested Ph.D. students and postdocs.
