Organised within the framework of Task 3.2, SUPEERA has published the fourth of a series of policy briefs giving an overview of the R&I challenges linked to the European Green Deal. The document analyses the EU Commission's Communication on the new European Research Area (ERA).
Within the framework of the SUPEERA project, the fourth of a series of policy briefs identifying concrete Research and Innovation (R&I) challenges in the latest EU energy research policies has been published. While the first three briefs of the series were focused respectively on the Energy Systems Integration Strategy, the Hydrogen Strategy, and the Circular Economy Action Plan, this fourth document analyses the European Commission's Communication on the new European Research Area (ERA).
Setting out concrete challenges for the development of the new ERA, the policy brief highlights and suggests recommendations towards the EERA community and the SET Plan ecosystem, as well as identifies potential areas for investment in energy R&I.
