The first Webinar of a SUPEERA series for energy researchers
In the framework of the SUPEERA project, EERA is organizing a series of webinars for energy researchers interested in keeping updated about the latest EU climate and energy policies and how these can be concretely translated into research and innovation challenges for their direct application.
The first webinar focused on the European Green Deal (EGD) and more specifically on the aspects directly related to research and innovation in the energy sector. Keynote speakers from the European Commission Directorate General for Research and Innovation and the Directorate General for Energy set the scene and pointed at measures and procedures of interest to the EERA community.
The webinar featured an in-depth analysis of how the EGD measures adopted to that point concretely translated into opportunities and research challenges for energy researchers. The policies analysed addressed the wider spectrum of energy technologies and horizontal sectors contributing to the clean energy transition.
